Principal - jason mood

Jason Mood is the principal at North Forney High School’s 9th Grade Campus. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical & Aerospace Engineering and received his Master of Science in Educational Technology & Leadership from Texas A&M-Commerce. He began his teaching career at South Garland High School in Garland ISD where he taught mathematics for 7 years. He served as the Ready 1:1 Instructional Technology Coach for South Garland High School for 3 years prior to arriving in Forney, TX. This will be Mr. Mood's 6th year at North Forney High School and 3rd as the principal of the 9th Grade Center. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, and playing video games.

Assistant Principal - amanda michael

Amanda Michael is an assistant principal at North Forney High School’s 9th Grade Campus. She graduated from Upper Iowa University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. She received her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from University of Nevada Las Vegas.  She began her career in Iowa and spent several years teaching in Las Vegas.  After moving to Germany with her husband for the military, she moved to Texas and continued teaching in Mesquite. Her career in education has spanned over twenty years and covered various grades and subject areas.  Mrs. Michael has been in Forney for five years as an Assistant Principal between Lewis Elementary and North Forney High School Freshman Center.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching sports, traveling, and spending time with family.

Assistant Principal - SHELDON STOKER

Sheldon Stoker is an assistant principal at North Forney High School’s 9th Grade Campus. He graduated from the University of Science and Arts with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and received his Master of Art in Education Leadership from the University of North Texas Dallas. He began his teaching career at Pine Tree High School in Pine Tree ISD where he was a CTE teacher and coach. Before coming to Forney ISD he spent 4 years in Mesquite ISD and served as a CTE Facilitator for the last 2 years. This will be Mr. Stoker’s 1st  year at North Forney High School. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, and attending concerts.
