Library Media Specialist

I have worked in education for 9 years - first as an English teacher, now as a Library Media Specialist. I love stories and sharing them with you is one of my favorite aspects of this job. My favorite genre to read is fantasy, but mostly I like intense stories with high stakes. Reading is an amazing thing because it allows us to experience things we may never otherwise encounter. Books are windows into the soul and what it means to be human. They give us places to escape, teach us empathy and compassion, and connect us to others. I believe everyone is a reader, and anyone who does not like reading has not yet found the right book.
